Indian film fest to honor Cumbul

Actress Meltem Cumbul will receive honorary award from the Indian Fest.
Turkish actress Meltem Cumbul will receive the honorary award from the prestigious Indian Film Festival.Cumbul will travel to India to receive her award at Osian’s - Cinefan Festival. Cumbul played in the movie “Tell Me O Kkhuda,” a Bollywood film drama directed by Mayur Puri and Hema Malini, which also starred Esha Deol, Arjan Bajwa, Sudhanshu Pandey, Vinod Khanna, Dharmendra, Rishi Kapoor, Farooq Sheikh, and Chandan Roy Sanyal in the leading roles, whilst Salman Khan makes a special appearance. The film’s musical score was composed by Pritam.
“Tell Me O KKhuda” was released Oct. 27, 2011, and met mixed reviews at the box office.
Most of the film was filmed in Turkey in Mehboob Studio, with Cumbul, who has a guest appearance in this film. The film has been promoted by Videocon through posters and many critics have announced that the film bears a slight resemblance to the 2004 Jackie Chan film “Around the World in 80 Days.” Originally the film was set for release on Sept. 30, 2011, but was pushed back due to personal incidents on the crew.
