An effective relationship between Turkey and Israel will benefit both sides against threats oriented by third parties, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said.“Both of us are under pressure and facing threats. A good relationship between Turkey and Israel would let us overcome this problem in future”, Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu responded to journalists’ questions during a press conference organized for the international press to mark the celebration of the Jewish religious holiday, Hanukkah.
The Israeli prime minister warned the international community against Iran, claiming that if Tehran is not stopped in 2013, uranium enrichment process will end up with the production of a nuclear bomb next summer.
“There is no clue found yet which shows that Iran has stopped its nuclear program,” Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu also expressed his disapproval regarding Mahmoud Abbas’ consensus efforts with Hamas.
