Gov’t may spend $1.5 bln for employment

The government may spend 2.4 billion Turkish Liras over six months to give temporary jobs in the public sector to half a million unemployed people, business daily Referans said yesterday, citing a plan drawn up by Labor Minister Faruk Çelik.
