Gov’t aims to pass consumer legislation

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is studying a draft of the measure, which will be debated in Parliament next month, the newspaper said. The changes will be in harmony with European Union standards, it said. Under the legislation, credit-card users will pay a subscription fee to banks once every three years, Hürriyet said.
