The German government has set up a federal state expert commission to examine shortcomings within law enforcement in the killing of eight
Turks and a Greek national by extreme rightists between 2000 and 2006, the German interior minister said Feb. 8. Hans-Peter Friedrich said the four-member panel would come up with proposals to improve cooperation between different security agencies by evaluating federal and state-level reports drafted by parliamentary committees.
