German wholesale prices shed 0.5 pct

The cost of goods at the factory gate fell by an average of 0.5 percent from the previous month, the Destatis service said. On a 12-month basis, producer prices in the biggest European economy gained 0.9 percent in February, below the forecast increase of 1.3 percent.
