Gendarmerie command post attacked in İzmir

Unknown assailants attacked a gendarmerie post in the Kemalpaşa district of Turkey's Aegean province of İzmir on Feb. 23, using rocket-propelled grenades. No casualties have been reported.The rocket hit the building next to the command post, causing damage.
Security forces have started an operation to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
Meanwhile, İzmir Gov. Mustafa Toprak confirmed that the attack was conducted by rocket-propelled grenades.
“This is not an important incident for now and there are no casualties or injuries. However, our teams are conducting their investigations in the event of the possibility of a second incident, Toprak said.
