Galeri Nev hosts Canan Dağdelen’s exhibition
Born in 1960 in Istanbul, Dağdelen graduated in 1986 from the Vienna University of Economics and in 1991 obtained her master’s degree from the Vienna University of Applied Arts. Since 2003 she has been a lecturer at the same university. Works by Dağdelen, who lives in Vienna, have recently been included in the collection of Istanbul Modern Art Museum, shown in the avant-garde gallery, as well as the operation room at the American Hospital, Apel Gallery, Akbank Sanat in Istanbul, Lentos Kunstmuseum in Linz, Austria, the First International Biennial in Mardin and 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan.
