Galatasaray settles for sterile draw against Eskişehir in Terim's return to bench

Galatasaray drew 0-0 with Eskişehirspor on Aug. 30, in coach Fatih Terim's long-awaited return to his team's bench following a nine-match ban.

The Lions' enjoyed several scoring opportunities, but stars Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder were unable to make the difference against an inspired Ruud Boffin in the Eskişehir goal.

Drogba also had also a shot denied by the bar in the 72th minute.

The title-holders, who similarly drew last week against Bursaspor, have collected just five points in the opening three games.

Eskişehir, which lost to Fenerbahçe last week, has a total of four points.

The Yellow Canaries will host their former player Roberto Carlos's Sivasspor in Istanbul on Aug. 31.

Beşiktaş, the current Super League leader with six points, is set to play Gaziantepspor on Sept. 1.
