French workers hold managers hostage

Union activists at the Molex factory at Villemur-sur-Tarn in southern France decided to hold the two managers Monday afternoon after a meeting called to discuss some 300 layoffs ended in disagreement.

A massive Russian attack that set apartments alight and knocked out heating to thousands in Ukraine's southern port city Odesa killed one person and wounded 10 others, authorities said on Nov. 15.
