Four workers injured during explosion at missile factory in Ankara

Two of the injured are in serious condition and were immediately transported to the hospital, Anadolu Agency reported.
Elmadağ Mayor Gazi Şahin, however, told private broadcaster NTV that only one of the workers was seriously injured and that the other three had sustained light injuries.
All of those injured were workers at the factory, the report said.
The blast reportedly occurred while workers were performing a controlled explosion during the disposal of waste materials. A small fire broke out but was quickly extuinguished by personel.
The factory is owned by Roketsan, the missile manufacturer of Turkey.
