ISTANBUL
Four citizens, Barış Kavukçu, Berkay Sürmeli, İlkay Zaman and İsa Emre Elvermez, had been missing for two days after heading into a forested area, private broadcaster CNN Türk reported.
According to U.S. police, rescue teams noticed the location of the group late on Nov. 8 after seeing the flames they lighted from a helicopter. They were then airlifted from the forest in a helicopter and were taken to Los Angeles, where their families were waiting.
The group reportedly said they went to the forest for a hunting-themed photoshoot.
