Finansinvest of Finansbank Group was chosen as “Turkey’s Best Investment Bank” by Global Finance, one of the world’s most esteemed finance magazines. The awards ceremony will take place in Washington D.C. in October, concurring with the annual IMF meetings.

Global Finance evaluated completed transactions announced in 2012 of more than 140,000 players from 163 countries. Criteria such as market share, number of transactions, total transactions volume, organizational capacity and distribution network were taken into account with the contributions of sector experts.

Saruhan Doğan, executive general manager of Finansbank Investment Banking said trust and professionalism had a growing significance in investment decisions on a global, regional and national scale. The Halkbank secondary public offering, in which Finansinvest and Citi was main advisers, was the largest public offering in Turkish capital markets history and the third largest in Europe in 2012.
