Festival to promote Bursa with photos

Focusing on the “Colors of Life” and “Colors of the City,” Bursa will welcome the third International Bursa Photography Festival at famous locations around the city at the beginning of October.

The photos will be exhibited from Oct. 5 to 12 at several venues, including the Tarihi Çarşı, Cumhuriyet Street and the Atatürk Congress and Culture Center, and will feature contests, seminars and interviews. 
The winner of the National Photography Competition will win 5,000 Turkish Liras, the runner-up will receive 3,000 liras, while the third place will win 2,000 liras. The winner of the International Photography Exhibition portion of the competition will be awarded a gold medal and 4,000 dollars, second place will receive a silver medal and 3,000 dollars, while third place will receive a bronze medal and 2,000 dollars. 
Photos from significant international photographers such as Bruno Barbey, Thomas Hopker, Gael Turine.
