Fener looks to close final series

Fenerbahçe looks to end the Turkish Women’s Basketball League final series tonight, while Galatasaray Medical Park aims to force the series into a fifth game.

Fenerbahçe, seeking its seventh consecutive league title, leads the finals series two games to one over their archrivals and is just one win away from closing the best-of-five series with a win in the game at the Abdi İpekçi Arena, home of Galatasaray, tonight.

After losing the first two games in the series, Galatasaray found a lifeline on April 17, beating Fener 92-86, thanks to a dazzling performance by its superstar guard Diana Taurasi, who had 34 points.

If Galatasaray wins, the deciding fifth game will be played at Fenerbahçe’s Caferağa Sports Hall on April 22. Tonight’s game starts at 8 p.m.
