Father attempts to burn down house after learning of daughters' boyfriends

A 51-year-old father of five, H. T., has attempted to burn down his home while his family was inside, after allegedly learning from a neighbor that his four daughters have boyfriends.

H.T. threw fuel around his home before attempting to burn down the house while his family was still inside. He threatened to kill his daughters G.T., 23, D.T., 20, H.T., 18, and N.T., 17, and his wife N.T. when they attempted to stop him from burning the house.

One of the girls called gendarmerie forces, who detained the father. He told the gendarmerie that he got nervous when his daughter refused to tell him with whom they were having relationships. The court decided to release the father, who will be tried on charges of threat and insult. An unlicensed gun was also found in the house.
