The residence construction plans were prepared by Turkey’s Housing Development Administration (TOKİ).
An expert report has stated that a new landscaping plan allowing for new constructions in the western Turkish resort town of Çeşme will damage the green area and increase the population by around five times. The expert report has been released after the local chamber of architects opened a lawsuit against the residence construction plans of Turkey’s Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) in the Aegean town.
The report said the new landscaping plans violated the principles and techniques of city planning as well as current construction regulations, adding that the planned four-story buildings were “against the fabric of the town.”
