Experience the tastes of Italy
The International Culinary and Hospitality Academy is hosting a workshop on Italian cuisine Nov. 12. The workshop will teach classic and regional cuisine including spaghetti alla puttanesca, made with olives, tomatoes, anchovies, capers, chili peppers and garlic, as well as parmigiana, shallow fried eggplant slices layered with cheese and tomato sauce, then baked. Desserts taught will include struffoli, ricotta-based pastiera, sfogliatelle and rum-dipped babà. The workshop starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are available at Biletix booths. Address: Meydan Sok.
