A late goal from Erkan Zengin gave Eskişehirspor a surprising 2-1 win over leader Fenerbahçe in the Spor Toto Super League Feb. 1.

Former Fenerbahçe forward Henri Bienvenu opened the scoring with a well-placed lob over goalkeeper Volkan Demirel in the 28th minute to give Es-Es the lead. Fenerbahçe soon responded with Dirk Kuyt in the 42nd minute.

Eskişehirspor had the final say, however, when Swedish international winger Erkan Zengin found the net with seven minutes from time.

The win meant Eskişehirspor maintained its spot in the trailing pack on sixth spot with 30 points. Fenerbahçe remained on top of the league with 44 points.

Beşiktaş retook the third spot with 33 points after beating Kayseri Erciyesspor 3-2 in the opening match of the round Jan. 31.

Also on Feb. 1, Gaziantepspor beat Antalyaspor 1-0 and the Kayserispor vs. Kasımpaşa game ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

Second-place Galatasaray was scheduled to face Bursaspor in the late game yesterday.
The 19th round will wrap up tonight with the Çaykur Rizespor vs. Trabzonspor game.
