Erdoğan’s post-surgery photographs released

The Prime Ministry’s Office yesterday released the first photograph taken of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan after his second surgery that took place Feb. 11.The photograph was taken inside the PM’s home in Istanbul’s Kısıklı province during a get well visit by Bakir İzzetbegoviç, a Bosniak member of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidential Council Bakir İzzetbegoviç’s visit reportedly lasted for 30 minutes.
A group of Kasımpaşaspor football team fans were also present in front of Erdoğan’s house, holding “get well” signs. Erdoğan was in his youth a football player for Kasımpaşaspor, the team representing his hometown of Kasımpaşa.
Erdoğan is expected to give a speech Feb. 19 during a meeting of the Justice and Development Party’s (AKP) youth branch in Istanbul.
