Efes One Love Fest launches performers

British indie rock band Foals and French hip-hop artist Wax Tailor will be among the performers at this year’s Efes Pilsen One Love Festival.

The 12th Efes Pilsen One Love Festival will be organized between June 20 and 22 this year. One of the main acts at the festival will be one of the rock world’s most important English bands, Blur. Britpop’s legendary name Blur will meet Turkish music lovers on June 21 for the first time in Turkey.

Consisting of Damon Albarn on vocals and the keyboard, Graham Coxon on the guitar, Alex James on the bass guitar and Dave Rowntree on the drums, this English band is known as one of the important representatives of the Britpop in the 90s.

Other artists appearing at the festival were also announced recently. Among them will be French hip-hop artist Wax Tailor and British indie rock band Foals.

Tailor has released four studio albums collaborating with a great number of artists and has also released a number of EPs in France. His fourth album “Dusty Rainbow From The Dark” is a concept album and was released in 2012. Tailor will be on stage on June 21.

Foals, who released their third album “Holy Fire” on Feb. 11 this year, will be on stage on the last day of the festival, June 22. The band is currently in the middle of a world tour.
