Duran Duran to be guest of city in July

The band will come to promote its latest album ‘All You Need is Now.’

As part of the promotional tour for its latest album “All You Need is Now,” British pop rock band Duran Duran will take the stage in Istanbul’s Maçka Küçükçiftlik Park on July 9. The band will perform its well known songs that marked the 1980s and 1990s, such as “Wild Boys,” “Girls On Film,” “Rio,” “Planet Earth,” “Hungry Like The Wolf,” “Come Undone,” “Ordinary World,” and “The Reflex.”

For the album “All You Need is Now,” Duran Duran worked with the Grammy award winning producer Mark Ronson. The band also worked with world famous models Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen and Yasmin Le Bon for the music video of the song “Girl Panic.”

The 30-year-old band will also take the stage at the opening of the London Olympic Games.

In its Istanbul concert, Simon Le Bon (vocalist), John Taylor (bass guitar), Nick Rhodes (keyboard) and Roger Taylor (drum), will be accompanied by guitarist Dom Brown. Tickets for the concert are available at Biletix at a price between 90 and 300 Turkish Liras.
