Doğan signs onto open mall project

Doğan Holding is set to invest $6 million in the “Trump Cadde” (Trump Street) project, which includes plans to build an open mall on the terrace of Istanbul’s Trump Mall.

Trump Cadde will be built on a 2,500-square-meter area at the Trump Mall, a part of Trump Towers in which Doğan Holding is a partner with Trump International. As part of the project, there will be 25 brands providing services from containers on the site.

“We wanted a project that is different, untried and undone,” said Hanzade Doğan Boyner, the chairperson of Doğan Online, adding that the project was slated to begin in September.

Doğan has reached an agreement with İzzet Çapa to create the project, as well as with architect Gökhan Avcıoğlu.
