DEİK launches urgent action plan after failed coup attempt
ISTANBUL – Anadolu Agency
According to a statement by the DEİK, the 11-point urgent action plan’s first phase was launched after discussions with executive and supervisory board members and heads of business councils. The board initially announced a “mobilization” to prevent disinformation abroad and clear information pollution.
In this perspective, a communication committee will be formed within the board to contribute to communication activities inside and outside the country.
The DEİK head and its board members will also hold broad consultations, primarily with economy, foreign and EU ministers and chief negotiators, regularly, while ambassadors will increase their contacts with trade consultants and institutions abroad. It will also organize a work dinner with the participation of foreign mission representatives in Turkey.
According to the campaign, the DEİK head will also hold high level talks, particularly with the U.S. and EU countries, including think tanks and media representatives.
It will also organize a number of networking events with the participation of foreign investors.
In addition, a multi-language newsletter will also be sent to all recipients, including foreign media, periodically.
