Circles seek tension: envoy

Iran’s Ambassador to Ankara Bahman Hosseinpour said certain hands were seeking to create tension in Iran-Turkey relations.Making the remarks in a gathering of Iranian physicians living in Ankara, he said Tehran-Ankara ties were currently enjoying the best possible status, but warned that the warm and friendly relations between the two countries had triggered bad feelings in certain people and countries seeking to damage these relations, State-run IRNA news agency reported.
He said some countries were trying to portrait Iran and Turkey as two rival countries in the region, while in fact they are two nations that are very close to each other with complementary roles.
