Chopin master to give Istanbul performance

2010 Frydyric Chopin Competition first prize winner Russian pianist Yulianna Avdeeva will be on stage at the Sakıp Sabancı Museum’s event hall The Seed today. The concert starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are available at the Biletix booths. Beginning her studies at the age of five, Avdeeva studied at the Gnessin Special School of Music in Moscow, and graduated from Zürcher Hochschule der Künste.. She has received outstanding international recognition after winning the Chopin prize. She is the fourth female to have won this title.
