Central Bank buys $50 mln worth of lira

The bank said it got $139 million of bids. It sold $50 million in a similar auction Wednesday at 1.7372 per dollar from bids of $121 million. Bids varied yesterday between 1.7487 and 1.7515 per dollar, the Bank said.
