Car bomb kills four at mayor's office near Damascus

A car bomb outside a mayor's office in the town of Muadamiya al-Sham south of Damascus killed four civilians today, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, AFP reported.

A woman was among those killed in the town, about 10 kilometres south of the Syrian capital, said the Observatory, a Britain-based watchdog.

Additionnaly, 20 Syrian soldiers were killed in fresh fighting at Turkish border post, NGO reported.
