C.A.M hosts an exhibit by Sevim Sancaktar works

C.A.M Gallery, in the Nişantaşı district of Istanbul, will be hosting an exhibition titled “Self” by Sevim Sancaktar from Sept. 27 to Nov. 3.

In her work, Sancaktar bunches together the feelings of identity, boundary and non-place, trying to understand the fragile circle that has been composed around these ebb and tides. Sancaktar repeatedly investigates the immigration of her own family from the Balkans, and also seeks to highlight the problems of the other Soviet citizens who emigrated to Letonia during the Soviet period.
