Beşiktaş snapped a three-game streak without a win on Nov. 9, beating Kayserispor 3-0 in the Spor Toto Super League.

Olcay Şahan gave the lead to the Black Eagles in the first half. An own goal from Gökhan Değirmenci and Michael Eneramo‘s debut Beşiktaş goal came on the last minutes of the match.

It was a much-needed victory for Beşiktaş, who could only get two wins in the last six matches.

Beşiktaş climbed to fourth spot with 21 points, behind second Kasımpaşa and third Sivasspor, who also won on Nov. 9. Leader Fenerbahçe was hosting rival Galatasaray late yesterday.

Kayserispor fell to last spot with its seventh straight defeat and the poor run prompted coach Robert Prosinecki to resign.

“Unfortunately there is a failure here,” the Croatian said. “I am stepping down.”
