Balloon crash victim’s body still at hospital

The body of a Brazilian tourist who was killed May 20 in a balloon crash in the central province of Nevşehir’s Ürgüp district is still in the hospital, awaiting relatives and consulate officers. Another four tourists who were severely injured in the crash are still undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kayseri.The hospital authorities announced that the body of 82-year-old Helena Cobeman was currently awaiting the deceased’s family and consulate authorities.
Meanwhile, two Brazilians, one Portuguese and one Spaniard, who were receiving treatment in Nevşehir after being injured in clash, were transferred to the Central Anatolian province of Kayseri’s Acıbadem Hospital.
“Four tourists that were injured in the balloon crash are undergoing treatment at our hospital. Currently their condition has become less critical, and their treatment is ongoing at Kayseri Acıbadem Hospital,” the hospital’s chief physician Dr. Ömer Akbeyaz said.
