Babylon to host trip hop DJ duo tonight

Known for making the much-acclaimed original score for Emir Kusturica’s cult movie Arizona Dream, Vienna based duo dZihan & Kamien is getting ready for a special DJ performance at Babylon tonight for all the trip hop and eclectic music lovers living in Istanbul. The concert starts at 11:30 p.m. and tickets are available at the club’s main booth.

Releasing their latest album “Lost & Found” in 2010, dZihan & Kamien promise a night full of diverse music genres and East-meets-West original sounds. If you’re a fan of Kruder & Dorfmeister and Jazzanova, you should be there for sure.

This performance should not be missed missed for a number of reasons, not least of which is that the band perfectly combines traditional Arab and Oriental music with trip hop and acid jazz, their impressive performance creates a unique sound that will satisfy all eclectic music lovers and their main inspiration is the city of Istanbul.

Radyo Babylon DJ Berke Yavuz will be playing at Babylon for both warm-up and after party.
