Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, head of the Turkish Union of Chambers and Stock Exchanges (TOBB), who also heads the Business 20 (B-20), a sub branch of the G-20, outlined suggestions for the leaders of the largest economies to boost trade.

World leaders, including U.S. President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jiping, will be in Turkey’s Antalya between Nov. 13 and 15 for the G-20 Summit, Hisarcıklıoğlu said during a press meeting together with Labor 20 (L-20) term leader Ergün Atalay.

“All the worlds’ eyes will be on Turkey and leaders will decide on the future of the global economy at a table in Antalya.

“Our first demand from the leaders is promoting trade,” he said.

The 19-item demand list by Hisarcıklıoğlu starts with the resignation of a trade easing deal.

The list also includes the fine-tuning and approval of a global financial reform agenda.

He also prioritized harmony between national regulations and transparency for right-holders.

The list called for a set of international investment principles and special infrastructure strategies in accordance with G-20 growth targets.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said the list would be submitted to the world leaders in person.
