Ane Brun once again Istanbul

ISTANBUL

The Norwegian representative of Scandinavian music, indie musician Ane Brun will perform in Istanbul once again after her concert in 2014.
 
Organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), the concert will be held on April 1 at Salon IKSV. 

Istanbul’s music lovers had chance to view Brun live on stage in 2011, 2013 and 2014 as well. This time she will share the stage with Swedish jazz band Tonbruket’s members and the backup vocals of Mariam The Believer. 

Born in 1976, songwriter, singer and guitarist Brun celebrated her 10th year in music by releasing a retrospective album in 2013. Highly acclaimed for her different styles on the stage, all her performances sold out days before the concerts.

In 2013, Brun released a 32-track collection of songs from her first 10 years in the music industry, entitled “Songs - 2003 to 2013,” which included four new songs. In the same year, she also released a 20-track collection of covers and out-takes entitled “Rarities.”
