Anadolu Efes advances to EuroLeague final for the first time

For the first time in history, two Turkish clubs met in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four match, which saw Anadolu Efes beating Fenerbahçe Beko 92-73 to advance to the final.
Final Four's first match at Fernando Buesa Arena in the Spanish city of Vitoria-Gasteiz on May 17, Anadolu Efes defeated Fenerbahce Beko 92-73 to reach the final.
Anadolu Efes' top scorer was Shane Larkin with 30 points, making tough shots throughout the match that broke Fenerbahce defense.
On May 19, Anadolu Efes will face the winner of CSKA Moscow and Real Madrid semifinalists.
This year was Fenerbahçe's fifth consecutive Final Four ticket in the league.
Fenerbahçe won the EuroLeague title in 2017, but lost in 2016 and 2018 in the final game.
This is Anadolu Efes' first EuroLeague final in its history.
This year is the first time ever that two Turkish clubs have advanced to this level, making Turkey the fifth country to accomplish the feat since 1988 after Spain, Italy, Greece and Russia.
