Alicia Keys comes to Istanbul for Jazz Fest

American R&B singer and 14-time Grammy award winner Alicia Keys is set to come to Istanbul for the Istanbul Jazz Festival this year. She will give a concert at Maçka Küçükçiflik Park on July 2. 

Keys’ new album, which came out on May 2012, entered the charts with hit single “Girl on Fire.” Duets with Maxwell and Nicki Minaj also helped the record hit the top of the album charts. 

Keys is coming to Turkey as part of her world tour “Set The World On Fire.” The Istanbul Jazz Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and is set to once again assemble globally successful names in pop, rock, folk and world music, as well as famous jazz artists, from July 2 to 19. 

As per tradition, the festival will have a special pre-show, this year featuring Branford Marsalis and the Joey Calderazzo Duo at Salon on April 15 and 16 as part of the festival’s pre-show.
