Algerian keeper joins Turkey’s Antalyaspor

Algerian international goalkeeper Rais M’Bolhi signed on Aug. 25 a three-year deal with Antalyaspor, following an unsuccessful spell in the U.S.’s Major League Soccer.M’Bolhi, 29, was released by Philadelphia Union on Aug. 24, after having not played since April. He made nine starts in two seasons with the U.S. club.
Antalyaspor Chairman Gültekin Gencer welcomed M’Bolhi at the club’s Hasan Subasi training ground.
Antalyaspor were promoted to the top flight of Turkish football at the end of last season and signed Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto’o over the summer.
“I will show a high-level performance at Antalyaspor,” M’Bolhi said. “I received many offers from Turkey and other countries but I chose Antalyaspor.”
