Al-Qaeda suspects detained in Gaziantep

Seven people were detained in Turkey’s southeastern province of Gaziantep province yesterday with accusations of al-Qaeda links.An anti-terror team began house raids June 18 on orders from the Public Prosecutor. The suspects are accused of “providing member and money” for al-Qaeda. The team seized many documents allegedly belonging to the terrorist organization. Anti-terror team also seized the suspects’ computers. Suspects were sent to a court house.
Eight detained in Bursa
Eight people were also detained by the police in the western province of Bursa that same day. The anti-terror teams had been stalking the suspects for over a year. The suspects are alleged members of the terrorist organization recruited and trained abroad.
