Adana Kare Art Days host writers

The 13th Kare Art Days in Adana have started. The events will be taking place with the support of the municipality.

The events started with the signature day that took place in Adana’s 75. Yıl Art Gallery by Adana-based writers Adnan Gül, Ali Ozan Emre, Akif Keskiner, Aytekin Gezici, Behçet Çelik, Cahit Aslan, Can Nadir Nadirler, Cemil Okyay, Çetin Yiğenoğlu, Demet Duyuler Doğan, Demirel Babacanoğlu and Elvan Ebinç. A Balkan music band also performed.

The events will continue throughout the week and Dr. Serdar Girginer and Dr. Fikret Fatih Gülşen will hold a seminar on “Holding onto our cultural heritage and values.” The curator of the 75. Yıl Art Gallery Ali Raşit Karakılıç’s exhibition titled “The Faces of the Moment” will open during the art week.The art week will also commemorate deceased theater actor Nejat Uygur, who passed away last month. As part of the event, brothers Süheyl and Behzat Uygur, sons of Nejat Ugur, will be in town with theater play “Hasta Etme Adamı.”
