Akbank’s traditional Guitar Days begins

The Akbank Guitar days have started with Marcin Dylla, who is considered one of the most outstanding classical guitar players in the world, having won an unparalleled number of awards at musical competitions. From 1996-2007 he won the first prize at the most prestigious international guitar contests taking place in Europe and the United States 19 times.

He was also honored many times by awards of the audience and orchestras with which he performed. At the 7th International Guitar Convent in Alessandria in 2002, Dylla was also awarded a “gold guitar” musical critics’ award for the best up-and-coming young guitar player.

Marcin Dylla’s fame in the artistic life of Europe, is confirmed by his participation in many musical festivals, conducting master classes, cooperation with outstanding musicians and orchestras, as well as giving many recitals in prestigious world concert halls, such as Konzerthaus in Vienna, Musikverein in Vienna, Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, Philharmonic in St. Petersburg, and Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo N.Y.
