The Island of Knights: Taking its name after the Knights of Rhodes, Şövalye Adası – or the Knight Island in English, is located in the Aegean resort town of Fethiye.
With its unique shape that dominates the middle of the sea along the Gulf of Fethiye, this unparalleled island embodies many ancient ruins from the 15th century, along with its soft-sanded beaches and soothing waters.
Phaselis Cove: The ancient city of Phaselis, located in the southern province of Antalya’s Kemer district, was a significant strategic location in the ancient times for marine trade. Nowadays, the ancient city’s cove, which has luminous waters and a divine beach, is the go-to spot for campers.
Cleopatra Island: Located in the Aegean province of Muğla, the Cleopatra Island draws the whole world’s attention with its bright blue waters and one-of-a-kind golden beaches.
Legend has it that the island’s sand was brought from Egypt for Queen Cleopatra and her lover, the Roman commander Antonius, for them to meet on the island.
