20 ISIL members killed in Turkish aerial campaign in northern Syria: Army

Some 20 members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) were killed on Sept. 10 in an aerial campaign against the jihadist group, the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) said in a written statement on Sept. 11.Three buildings, one vehicle and one motorbike were destroyed in strikes conducted south of Tell al-Hava as part of the “Euphrates Shield” operation, read the statement.
The operation, which was launched in cooperation with the U.S.-led coalition on Aug. 24, saw the Turkish military back the Free Syrian Army (FSA) with artillery, tanks, air power and Special Forces in a bid to sweep its borders ISIL and other terrorist elements after a series of attacks targeting the country. Aircrafts from the anti-ISIL coalition also backed the operation.
