‘12 Points: Kaja Draksler Acropolis’ takes the stage

“12 Points: Kaja Draksler Acropolis” takes the stage at Akbank Art tonight at 7 pm. A young talent that performed at the Dublin-based 12 Points Festival, Kaja Draksler launched the Acropolis Quartet with Turkish, Italian and Romanian artists. Their debut album, “Akropola,” on the Goga Muzik label, featured collaborations with Sanem Kalfa in 2009, paving the way for their second album, “Türkü.” The band’s music consists of each member’s traditional music background combined with electro-acoustic vibes.
