Orphaned Land at Küçükçiftlik Park
Israeli progressive metal band Orphaned Land is giving a concert at Maçka Küçükçiftlik Park on Feb. 25 to raise charity funds for the quake-stricken Van province in eastern Turkey. The concert starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are available at Biletix booths. Formed in 1991, the band combines death and doom metal with Jewish and Arabic influences. The band’s first album “Sahara” was released in 1994; their second album “El Norra Alila” was released in1996. The band released its third album “Mabool” in 2004 and their last album “The Never Ending Way of ORwarriOR” was release d in 2010.
