Deep from the sea to ceramic panels

Life under the sea, the beams that penetrate into the deep, the reflections on the sea surface and overall color festivity is captured in the new mosaic ceramic exhibition named “Derindenizler” (Deepseas) by artist Neslihan Zabcı Erdal. The Bodrum-based artist, due to her graphics background, has always had a graphic point of view in her illustrations, ceramics, paintings, sculptures and mosaics. Fish swim in her ceramics, shells find life in her panels, sea waves wash the shore in her paintings; Erdal says she has always felt that she belongs in the sea. This exhibition has colorful octopuses, fishes, lobsters, jellyfish, anemone and squid. Blue from the Aegean and the Mediterranean adds to the navy blue of the moonlight in the exhibition, which is open until April 13Venue: Bakraç Art Gallery, Kozyatağı
