Three Russian tourists detained after pretending to be guests at Antalya resort

Three Russian tourists were caught after pretending to be guests at a four-star hotel in the southern Turkish resort province of Antalya on July 5.The tourists, identified only as 42-year-old Andrei V., 37-year-old Yulia F., and 41-year-old Elena K., had arrived at a hotel for a vacation in the Kemer district. They entered the hotel after obtaining all-inclusive hotel wristbands without paying.
After entering they ate from the hotel’s open buffet and enjoyed free unlimited alcoholic drinks.
However, their enjoyable experience was interrupted after hotel workers realized the situation and informed officers of the Çamyuva Gendarmerie Station.
The tourists were detained after trying to escape from the hotel and were referred to the court on charges of “fraud” that same day.
They were released by the authorities after paying the price they had incurred in food and beverages.
