Juventus peaking in time to face Shakhtar

Serie A champions Juventus will be looking to continue its impressive unbeaten streak when it hosts Champions League opponents Shakhtar Donetsk tonight.The Ukrainians come to Turin boasting a 13-game winning streak in all competitions having beat Danish side FC Nordsjaelland 2-0 at home to go top of Group E.
Juventus is sitting even prettier.
While Juve Antonio Conte continues to serve a 10-month touchline ban for his implication in a sports-betting affair while coach of Siena, his caretaker coach Massimo Carrera is doing a fine job at the helm. Under Carrera, Juve have extended its impressive unbeaten streak to 45 games, going back to a defeat against Parma in May 2011.
On Sept. 29, Juve underlined its credentials as the title contenders with a 4-1 thrashing of Roma, who had gone to Turin confident of challenging for the points.
