In basketball action, Turkey's Fenerbahçe on March 19 defeated Montenegro's Buducnost VOLI Podgorica 76-67 in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Fenerbahçe Beko are currently atop the league at 23-4.

Fenerbahçe's top scorer in the match was Nikola Kalinic with 14 points.

Fenerbahçe Beko, Real Madrid and CSKA Moscow have all ensured playoff spots.

Meanwhile, Turkey's Anadolu Efes were defeated by Russia's CSKA Moscow 78-80 on March 19.

Anadolu Efes have 17 wins, 10 losses and maintained fourth place in the standings. CSKA's top scorer was Cory Higgins with 19 points and Anadolu Efes' top scorer was Bryant Dunston with 19 points.

Turkish team maintains fourth place in standings with their three matches remaining in the league.

Sixteen teams are competing in the league - four Spanish, three Turkish, two Russian, and two Greek teams, and one team each from Germany, Italy, Israel, Lithuania, and Montenegro.

Turkey is represented by Anadolu Efes, Fenerbahçe Beko, and Darüşşafaka Tekfen.

The regular season is being played from Oct. 11, 2018 to April 5, 2019, with the top eight advancing to the playoffs to be played April 16-30.

Winners will advance to the Final Four on May 17-19 at Fernando Buesa Arena in the Spanish city of Vitoria-Gasteiz in single-elimination matchups.
