Dolphin found riddled with bullet wounds on Kocaeli shore in Turkey’s northwest

The owner of a scuba diving club has found a dead dolphin riddled with bullet wounds lying on the shore in the northwestern Turkish province of Kocaeli.
Ekrem Birol, the owner of the diving club, said he first approached the dolphin thinking it might be alive.
“When I got closer and pulled it on the shore, I saw many holes [in the dolphin],” Birol added.
“It is impossible to understand the people who have committed such an atrocity,” he said.
