G-20 leaders meet in Turkey’s Antalya, under the shadow of the Paris attacks that killed at least 129 on Nov. 15, with plans to focus on the Syrian crisis, climate change and a heavy economy and trade agenda. 4.00 p.m. - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan warned countries against tightening their refugee policies following the terrorist attack in Paris claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), during a speech at the G-20 Summit in the Mediterranean resort town of Antalya.

1.52 p.m. Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Saudi Arabia's King Salman to discuss a resolution to the Syria crisis and bilateral relations on the sidelines of the G-20 on Nov. 16, the Kremlin said in a statement.

12.48 p.m. Kremlin says Putin-Obama meeting constructive but not groundbreaking, Reuters has reported.
"Bilateral relations (between Moscow and Washington) are what they are. The differences are what they are, and at the same time the understanding that there is no alternative to dialogue ... is also what it is," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on a conference call. "But the meeting itself was constructive."
11.30 a.m. Russia, the world’s top oil producer, sees the gap between global oil supply and demand narrowing gradually, the country’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Turkey.
He added that excessive oil supply could be eliminated in the second half of next year.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) was ready to hold consultations with Russia to assess the situation on the global oil market, Novak said, adding however that there was no joint position within OPEC regarding oil output cuts.
Novak said finalizing the agreement in December was unlikely, however, as much depended on when the cabinet would be formed in Turkey.
“What matters is when Turkey’s energy minister is appointed. After that, we will continue negotiations with the minister,” he said.

11.00 p.m. Turkish President Erdoğan and Russian President Putin held a bilateral meeting as part of the G-20 Summit late Nov. 15.
Reports indicate the leaders initially had a meeting accompanied by their respective committees and discussed bilateral affairs. During the meeting, the parties agreed to hold the next meeting of the High-Level Russian-Turkish Cooperation Council (ÜDİK) in Russia on Dec. 15.
Erdoğan and Putin continued the meeting in private and reportedly discussed regional affairs with a focus on Syria.
6.05 p.m. The White House made a statement detailing the meeting between President Obama and Russian President Putin, saying the leaders discussed matters related to Syria.
5.40 p.m. Turkish PM Davutoğlu held a private meeting with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.
5.10 p.m. US President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin hold a meeting during the first recess of the summit.
4.41 p.m. Erdoğan delivers a speech during the second session of the summit, where he underlines that terror threatens peace and security across the world.
4.40 p.m. Leaders hold a minute of silence in the memory of the victims of the terror attacks in Paris, Ankara and elsewhere.

4.30 p.m. The Civil-20 (C-20) and Women-20 (W-20) have made a joint press briefing at the G-20 Summit in Turkey’s southern Antalya province and suggested certain measures to be taken by the G-20, in a bid to make commitments on gender issues and reevaluate the economy to help women realize their potential.
Women earn 77 percent of the wage men earn, urged the statement, adding gender inequalities continued in G-20 economies and others. Inequality in wages was defined as a crucial issue to be solved by the initiatives.
The irregular labor mostly involves women struggling to survive in informal jobs with low safety levels, according to the statement.
The chairs called on G-20 countries to recognize and reduce cheap maintenance labor and stressed a renewed structure should be offered which supports the work-private life balance, and issues like child care, elderly care and social protection.
Also, in informal and rural economies, all the parts of society should be supported with employment, women cooperatives and micro, small and medium enterprises, the statement underlined.
The C-20 and W-20 chairs added the G-20 should consider these suggestions in order to go beyond the rhetoric, with respect to efforts to strengthen women in the economy.
2.40 p.m. Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu arrives at Antalya, where he meets his wife, Sare Davutoğlu, and sets off for Belek, the resort town of Antalya where the summit is being held.
2.15 p.m. A group chants slogans to protest the leaders of the G-20 countries.
1.48 p.m. Leaders gather for the traditional “family photo.”
1.05 p.m. European Council President Donald Tusk says the attacks in Paris were carried out by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), not moderate Islamist Syrian opposition. “I will urge G-20 leaders to focus on countering ISIL,” Tusk says.
12.55 p.m. European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker holds a joint press conference with European Council President Donald Tusk ahead of the summit. Juncker says there is no need to update the EU’s refugee policy. “I don’t think refugees are the cause of the Paris attacks. The attackers are those the refugees have been running from,” Juncker states.
12.10 p.m. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomes leaders of G-20 countries, indicating the summit has officially started.
